Industry : Industrial Engineering EPC Consultant
Requirements :
a) Minimum 10 years of experience with any Engineering Design Consultancy/ EPC / LSTK Industry projects.
b) Work Exposure to any Industrial Engineering Projects
c) Should be qualified as Minimum B.E. / B.Tech (Civil) OR M Tech / MBA in construction Management / Project Management, PMP/ IPMA certified
d) Should have worked in an engineering design consultancy firm and delivered multi-disciplinary design engineering projects including Architectural/ MEP /Structural services. Incumbent should have applied project management concepts like Earned Value Analysis, Conflict Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management etc. for delivery of designs. Incumbent should have strong experience in managing difficult clients, aligning team for scope delivery,
applying consistent QA/QC procedures, and managing poor quality.
e) Project and work exposure to construction industry Viz. Township, hotel, commercial / office complexes, industrial projects, hospitality projects, etc.
 
Job Profile :
1) Understanding client requirements and interfacing between client and departments within organization.
2) Preparation of project budget and managing the project without cost overrun/ delays.
3) Oversee the planning, monitoring, controlling & evaluation of the whole project
4) Managing Quality, Risk on projects. Appreciation of aspects related to Quality and proficiency in Risk management.
5) Vendor/ Procurement Management – Ability to interact with Vendor’s appointed by Client and interaction and coordination with agency that is procured by company to ensure their delivery of work packages offered to them.
6) Contract Management – Appreciation of different forms of contract, understanding impact of various mandates as per contract and liabilities associated to non-performance. Appreciation of said/ unsaid expectations of the Client under a Contract.
7) Understanding project details, preparing project schedule, updating the schedule as it evolves. Experience and proficiency in use of tools like Primavera/ MS Projects will be an advantage.
8) Assisting the client in sourcing and procurement; to the extend desired by the client from the consultant.
9) Understanding the process of cost estimation, lead development of cost estimates and help team deliver precise estimates.
10) Be able to contribute in and develop proposals. Supervising in tender development, tender specification, tender evaluation, interaction with bidders and recommendation of reward of work, participation in price negotiation based on current market trend & value, preparation of draft works order.
11) Resource management – Appreciation of advantages and shortcomings of team members to leverage best from each team member through encouragement, support and appreciation. Ensuring that the team has the right tools and are able to use the tools effectively to deliver to the best of their ability.
12) Wherever necessary, assist the Client on technical issues to obtain their comments/ approval on design documents, to their satisfaction.
13) Oversee the planning, implementation, QC and status reporting of the project.
14) Understand QMS manual and ensure quality control.
15) Communicate with the client, client billing and follow up with contractors and other agencies involved in the project.
16) Prepare interim and final reports and submit to the client and to the management as well.
17) Handing over the project and obtaining completion certificate.
18) Ensure that project is completed in stipulated time.
