Requirements :
a) Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics Operations like Export / Import and Warehouse Operations
b) Should be experienced in mirsal 2 system
Job Profile :
1) Freight negotiation with various lines to get cheaper rates
2) Manage warehouse/ product movements/ planning production schedules & inventory management.
3) Should be able to handle emirsal/ customs etc. & negotiate container/ bulk vessel freights & local transport rates.
4) Appoints Shipping Agencies for Export
5) Handle Land, Sea & Air freight if required
6) Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
7) Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
8) Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
9) Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
10) Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
11) Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
12) Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
